Chef Geoffrey Woodman began his career with a degree in English education, but his love of cooking lead him in a different direction.  Geo worked as Executive Chef at Town/Queequeg's, bartender at Mitchell's Fish Market, and Executive Chef at Tom's Oyster Bar and Ale Mary's (Royal Oak, MI).  Also a passionate triathlete, he coordinated his training schedule around his busy schedule at the restaurants.  While training, he began to notice a trend.  Other athletes frequently complained of not having enough time to shop for or prepare healthy, fresh, balanced meals.  They knew nutrition was an important component of their training, but didn't have the time or resources to cook the way they knew they should.  Chef Geo knew both athletes and other health-conscious individuals needed a way to balance their diet with their busy lifestyles.  The idea for Better Woodman LLC was born:  Healthy, fresh, portioned meals for athletes and health-conscious people, making their lives easier and improving their performance through better nutrition.
